Natural Plantation Inc.
 In the fall of 1999, Elsie Belcheff, Herbologist, Founder, President and CEO of Natural Plantation Inc, initiated research work to develop a process for a commercial application of Portulaca oleracea (common name Purslane). The results of this research she has patented as Purslane Powder.™
In March, 2000, Mrs. Belcheff formed Natural Plantation Inc. in Margo, SK, and to this day acts as its President.
Mrs. Belcheff is a recognized Herbalist with 19 years of experience in her field. She has done three years of research work on the impact of Purslane powder as a food supplement.
During the harvest season, she employs many students and locals to to manually pick and process the plants. Her plants are located in the Margo-Wadena area of Saskatchewan Canada.
Mrs. Belcheff has received the Herb and Spice Associations Certificate of Excellence for "Outstanding Performance and Lasting Contribution" awarded in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Elsie was also a 2006 YWCA Nominee for Entrepreneur of the Year.
